Solent Stevedores signs new stevedoring contract with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

Solent Stevedores, the UK’s leading cruise stevedoring partner has secured a two-year
contract extension with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.

The deal extends their cruise operation partnership to December 2023 and is a strong
endorsement of Solent Stevedores’ services and will see them continuing to provide
turnaround services to 30 Fred. Olsen Cruise Line calls a year at the Port of Southampton.

The award-winning company have been providing port and logistics services to Fred. Olsen
Cruise Lines at the Port of Southampton since 2013. The fleet includes Bolette, Borealis,
Balmoral and Braemar, all ships with international itineraries.

Tom Dynes, Operations Director at Solent Stevedores, said: “This year we celebrate our 10-
year anniversary with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, and we are thrilled to extend our agreement
with them once again. It is an exciting time, with two amazing new ships joining the Fred.
Olsen family and plans well underway for a full year of cruise operations at the Port of
Southampton – 2022 will mark a year of recovery for the UK Cruise Industry”
