GAC UK is set to follow up its very successful cruise port agency season in 2019 with an even greater 2020, with a 12% increase in scheduled port calls across the UK and Ireland. The coming season will see GAC UK provide port agency at 62 different port locations, up from 55 on the previous year.

As well as continuing to work with long-term customers such as Ponant, Fred Olsen, Grand Circle, Poseidon Expeditions and MV Gann, the UK Cruise Team has welcomed the newly launched Virgin Voyages for its debut season this year. Its first ship, the ‘Scarlet Lady’, is designed to reflect a yacht’s sleek luxury and serve as an Adult-by-Design floating sanctuary for the 18+ travellers. GAC UK started its extensive work last year in preparation for the Scarlet Lady’s arrival in UK waters for its first ever port call later this year.

The Virgin Voyages appointment reaffirm’s GAC’s commitment to the cruise industry and  progress in developing and building on ruise services across the UK. This latest alliance builds on continued year-on-year growth over the past five years, served by the UK and Ireland’s largest port agency network.

The opening of GAC Ireland last year means GAC now directly covers its customers’ calls across both the Republic and Northern Ireland in 2020, extending its services for existing and future cruise customers covering all UK and Ireland ports.
