One of Britain’s most iconic landmarks was transformed into a vibrant medieval festival for its first AzAmazing event on 6th June.
As part of Azamara Journey’s port of call visit, hundreds of guests were transported back in time through centuries, interacting with knights and jesters to experience the Castle’s incredible heritage and culture through this exclusive event.
Sonia Limbrick, Head of Business Development for Cruise at the Port of Dover said: “We are so lucky to have this beautiful Castle on our doorstep, which attracts people from across the world with its rich history and spectacular views. It has played such an important role in society for centuries, so to be able to showcase this to Azamara Cruises’ guests in a way that’s never been done before was incredible.

The call on 6th June was part of Azamara Journey’s 12-night cruise, from Lisbon to Copenhagen. She will return on 2nd July 2026 for a 13-night European cruise.
